Cats can't see under their own nose

Today, i learned that cats can't see under their own nose.

But, come to think of it... I can't see under my own nose either. I mean, humans can't see under their own noses.

I'm pretty sure dogs can't either. Or horses. Or pigs. Or rabbits. Or pretty much anything with a nose.

I mean, elephants most certainly can't see under their own nose. Hippos either.

So why would you single out cats?? What's with making fun of cats like that?? That's discrimination right there.
