Spent yesterday and some of today in a big conference about the upcoming lao law against human trafficking.

Fancy bottled water, flowers, microphones and interpreters. And a banner cut out from styrofoam.

Une grande conférence contre la traite humaine aujourd'hui. Le genre de conférence dont j'ai fini par prendre l'habitude et que je trouve maintenant très "lao". À la fois très artisanales, et très sérieuses. Incroyablement futiles, et en même temps terriblement importantes.
